I've been wondering the same thing the past few days. The situation in the entire region appears to be extraordinarily fragile... and the media is just fanning the flames. I'm about the furthest thing from a paranoid conspiracy theorist... but it was worldwide economic collapse followed by regional instability and unrest which lead to both WW I and WW II. I hope whatever happens in the Middle East goes down peacefully... I'm just so sick of bad news and hard times.
