Parole boards populated with unthinking liberals are the bane of a safe & secure citizenry.

The very idea that any of Manson's drug-addled psychopaths would ever be released is mind-boggling.

The most important responsibility of the penal system is to do what it can to ensure the safety & comfort of the general public, NOT of the demonstrably violent perpetrators.

It's the principle of judicial proceedings to temper justice with mercy. But things have got turned around under liberalism. Now we (ever so slightly) temper mercy with (the barest hint of) justice.

Liberals are going to kill us all -- ironically in the name of utopian idealism.
