I seem to be one of few who actually enjoys the aestetich of her showroom. Yes it's cluttered and busy. But it's homely and inviting. When furniture and the like are presented in an isolated context (do NOT get me started on hideous white rooms with one chair and a teacosy as decoration) they don't give a true account of what the furniture has to offer. But here they're presented as they may be in a real home, if not surrounded by chairs and other kerfuffle. It doesn't make me a fan of her house, however. Whatever she was smoking when she came up with the downstairs washroom is beyond me. I'd walk in and walk right out again. So gaudy.
