didn't lindsey say in some radio imterview that waddy was much closer to warren zevon than he was? playing some music together and sharing the floor of the same appartement while drifting in and out of sleep in a pot-induced stupor may not have amounted to a real long-term friendship between them i guess... and if so, then it may feel like exploiting their past together by reminding people they knew each other after warren's death?
although, i enjoyed billy bob thornton's little OCD story on letterman shortly after zevon's death... but he was clear that they were just acquaintances, living in the same building or something like that. (
