Ok, when you pull a tampon out, you grab the string that hanging out and pull it out. it comes out smoothly and it makes no noise, but you do it over a toilet. There isn't a mess, but the only plop is if you throw it into the toilet (I prefer to throw one in the garbage all wrapped up cause i'm afraid of clogging something).
If anyone has anything to add, write it.
