And I don't want to be a downer, but that was sort of my fear when I heard the word "acoustic" again, associated with the new album. After GOS I don't want something to be more like UTS. I loved UTS for its time, but I'm over it. NGBA  .

I'm being redundant, but his approach to the "Big Love" thing on "Bel Air Rain" on
GOS was really radical--for me, that's the song more than any other that captures the intensity (and sound) of his "Big Love" / "Go Insane" live versions. So
maybe this time he means that when he says acoustic...?
At the very least there's hope that "acoustic" doesn't mean just one thing to Lindsey.
