As I continued to listen and think about the song and its sound, it made me think of the Bare Trees album. I think if you put Warm Ways would be a perfect fit for that album, in a sense maybe a better fit than the Fleetwood Mac White Album since Warm Ways seems to always get lost in the shuffle. This one listening experience gave me a stronger and better appreciation for the song because it's kind of the last song of the 1970-1974 era of the band in terms of sound and feel.
Anyway, I don't know if folks will agree or disagree but I invite you to listen for yourself and formulate your own ideas/opinions.

Even though I'm yet to hear Bare Trees (I'm gonna listen to it after I hear Mystery to Me), I think I have heard songs from it and it has more of a Bob Welch-era feel to it, kinda how I always felt that Silver Springs was more of a Tusk song in terms of sounds. Maybe it was a deleted song that found it's way in years later.
