Your post just gave me a handful of great ideas all at once!
I actually think I can do this without skipping a quarter, although it would be much, much more expensive. Frankly, I really don't want to miss a single show of the first half of the tour simply because we all know she'll be at her best then... so the starting date of her tour is going to be a major factor. If I do this couch surfing thing, that puts a lot of money back in my pocket... so I can make sure to buy the best tickets possible for every show!
This is so exciting.
I think I'm going to ask for "donations" to the Stevie fund for Christmas and my birthday (they are within a month of one another). And I may be picking up a second job at Apple, too (I'm going to a retail training session in a few weeks) which would help as well. I have months to plan this out-- I just have to stay on track
