On their tour of the UK which finished last week, Blondie had a split set. They did many of the hits, a few album tracks that weren't singles, some solo tracks off Debbie's Necessary Evil album and about 6 brand new tracks off their forthcoming album and the new ones went down phenomenally well. I know that the 'hardcore' fans at the concert I went to were making up the front row along with myself, because they're friends of mine and we queued together. However, when the band played the new material the rest of the crowd behind us went
wild. They completely and utterly loved it.
I really think it'd do Stevie's new album a ton of extra good if she did play a few of the new songs as long as she introduced them, telling the audience about the album. That way they'll get excited and share her, and the big time fan's, excitement. She can do it and pull it off and we all know that
