As far as I can tell from this your German is really quite good. You made some mistakes but I can understand you without a problem. It must be terrible hard to learn. I must say I would never learn German if it wasn't my mother tongue
. The sentence you thought was wrong is actually right, just write "lesen" with a capital l and leave out the comma after "machen" - then it's perfect! And don't be afraid of going to Austria. The people there won't kill you because you can't speak German perfectly. It's important you try to speak even if you make mistakes because you can only improve if you practice. And it will be a great practice to be mainly surrounded by German speakers. I'm going to England in August and I'm really looking forward to get to talk with native speakers (you can't think about an England holiday nerdier...
).
Thank you, I'm glad the English I post is wunderbar but there's still so much I don't know how to express in English, I feel just the same as you. I understand pretty much everything here but when I'm posting a reply I often have problems with writing own sentences. And since Germans think English is so much cooler than German there is no German word for "post". We just "german" it and say "posten".
