So what I was going for was that I don't have a problem reading German, but that it's really hard to make my own sentences (for example, I'm sure this sentence isn't correct.) That is probably not what I said.
Thankfully I'm not going alone; I'll be with an entire college class. I've never been outside of the U.S, so I'm really excited. My high school German was absolutely useless. In four years, I never learned half as much as I did in a semester of college.
