that's a pretty flaccid reason to approve of obama. you don't say anything about what you think of his policies. if you approve of him, it should be based on his own merits, not because the republicans don't offer anything better.
i think obama's pretty lame. he f*cked up the healthcare bill, backed down on his pre-election DADT rhetoric, and most recently, he
completely omitted homos in his plea for support from the groups who elected him & other dems in 2008.
