Lindsey pushed Stevie against a car and slapped her, but he MIGHT have done it because she was being crazy or something, trying to calm her down?
I'm not saying he was right in hitting her, I'm just wondering what caused this man who is most definitely NOT a violent person to hit Stevie.

Stevie had just come out of Betty Ford at this time, so I doubt that she was high. As far as him hitting her, it has also been said that it was not the first time. It was a matter of things that had built up over twleve years coming to a head.
