All my life my best friends have been women. I can hardly relate to men. The only advocacy/charity work I've ever associated myself with has been causes for equality when it comes to gender and sexuality. And by the virtue of being a gay man, all my gay friends AND my women friends have exposed me to Gaga and her studio AND live performances plenty. I just plain don't like her. Her flash to substance ratio is grossly off kilter. She's more concerned with saying, doing, and wearing things that will get her attention. What she wore to meet the Queen of England was completely insulting... and I don't even give two ****s about the monarchy! I was insulted that an AMERICAN representing our country and our entertainment biz looked like a damn fool in front of a world figurehead. And in turn, that makes Americans look disrespectful throughout the world. Yes, there is much work to be done when it comes to the equality of women in the world. I just don't see how Gaga wearing an outfit made entirely out of Kermit The Frogs is accomplishing good for humanity. If anything, people like Gaga are polarizing... further emboldening foes for inequality.

i didn't say you disliked her because she was a woman, i was offering context for her statements.
