This phrase from Michael Ondaatje's
The English Patient really stuck with me when I read the book in September. It's not even from a noteworthy part of the book.... I just adored the phrase.
This tattoo is in my own handwriting-- I literally wrote it down one time on a piece of paper in the studio and that became the stencil. I think that's important to the general sentiment of the tattoo. It's a dedication to two things: my writing and my past. I want to continue to be a "body full of sentences" in both the stories I can tell about my own life and the stories I create through my poetry/creative writing.
