Words such as disturbing or pain do not come into my mind when describing Stevies performances. Yeah she screamed and yelled, but out of pure passion, and enjoyment, and feeling. We as her audience were right there with her every step of the way, screaming, clapping, dancing, and totally feeding off her, which gave her complete confidence to be free and emote her feelings right back to us, We feed off of that we were connected to the feelings that the music, and her performances bought out in each of us. Completely special, to be able to get through to people that way is what it is all about. Connecting to people on such a level is the reason I love music. That's the ****!!! It was so heartfelt and craved, I feel blessed to have even been a part of that. Many concerts in the 80's were wild, or over the top with antics. But at Stevie's shows, she just connects so much with her audience, it's just really unreal. Of course we are glad Stevie and many other people survived, but I'm glad we were given RAL in it's geniuine form, and that we were lucky enough to have Rocked A Little with Stevie.
