I can get myself down to 117 fairly easily with exercise, but I can't decide if I want to put in the effort to be noticeably that tiny, or if I want to eat whatever I want for the rest of the break and still be in good shape, though not as impressivealy so, when I get back to school. I realize this whole post probably seems ridiculous. Practical application: I can't decide if I want to go downstairs and have homemade chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. I think I do.

Edit with a question: Has anyone's base weight that they float at changed? I used to be naturally heavier than I am now, not by much, but without exercise, I would be around 135. In college, though, those ten pounds just disappeared. Is it an age thing? My lifestyle hasn't changed at all.
NO idea what my float weight is anymore. Having a kid screws everything up, you have no clue what's normal anymore.

As for you, missy, 117 is too thin bordering on unhealthy, IMO. What if you focused more on weight training for health reasons/toning as opposed to cardio? Do you still lose weight with just weights?

I'm 5'10". And since I was about 10, I've always been at least 15-20 lbs overweight(usually about 180-185). Well, **** rolls downhill. Cut to three years ago, and I was up to 215. Now, I don't really have a big frame, although people actually (did) think of me as a pretty big guy. Well, three years ago, at a family dinner, my big mouthed aunt(one of those, who blurts out anything that crosses her mind), said, "David, you're just getting too fat, and you need to do something about it!" Well, god bless her big mouth! So, I lost about 30-35, and got down to about 180. Much better, but still not where I wanted to be. But, I lived with that weight comfortably, until about last August. Relationship-wise, I'd been alone forever, and finally decided that I was tired of being alone. Well, that decision alone, allowed me to REALLY start calorie counting, and laying down some Nazi laws for myself. I only eat red meat about once a week now. I love salad anyway, and about 5 days a week, I only have a big salad for dinner. And I drink at least 2 liters of water, every afternoon.
I just woke up now, and got on the scales........151!!!!!!!!! I've not weighed 151 since probably 7th grade. Last weekend, I had the ultimate compliment of my life, when a friend said, "look at you....you're scrawny!" And while "wonderful humanitarian" would be a nicer compliment....for someone who's had a lifelong battle with weight, "scrawny" felt like victory!
I've become a clothes WHORE, in the past couple of months, finally able to buy clothes that show my body, not hide it! No more black shirts for me! My favorite shirts(that I've been scouring Goodwill's for, are American Eagle Outfitter polo shirts, "vintage fit". They fit snug(without being too snug). And no more XL's for me...mediums, and some SMALLS fit! And in jeans, I'm wearing 29 and 30" waist. Again, hello 7th grade size!

I've made a new me, and I'm thrilled with this new chassis!
Btw, no drugs(I've heard several "lay off the cocaine" jokes), no diet pills, nada. Just a Nazi willpower, to reinvent myself.
Dude. Scrawny is not a compliment! That's like those morons who say "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." F*ck that. You're the size of my husband now, and he's a skinny bastard. Put on about 10 pounds, I say.

I'm glad you're happy but jesus, that's thin.
