^Mick said that Time was a really, really good band with the wrong name. He said that line up never should have been called Fleetwood Mac. He said they'd always kept the name in the past, but he should have realized that they couldn't continue to do what they'd always done, given the band's status.

Mick compares himself to Marlon Brando on the Island of Dr. Moreau where Brando went crazy and started bedding monkeys. Mick said he didn't get as far as sleeping with monkeyes, unless there were some nights that he's forgetting. But he says that things were so out of hand that he understands why Lindsey left, but at the time they were devastated by his departure and angry.

Mick mentions that the fans can't wait another 30 years for FM to come back, since he'll be in his nineties, but he says he's coming back on his own with his blue bands in 2 months. He says Rick Vito came when Lindsey was gone and he can't believe that Lindsey might have been gone for 14 years, because now it feels like Lindsey was never gone. He says it feels like a time warp and they're working harder than they did in their thirties.

He says that he has learned to accept that he's just a drummer and doesn't try to wear too many hats and he wonders if he has studied being a percussionist enough. That's why he's concentrating more on playing with his blues band now.

He and Lindsey are trying really hard to throw the beads (beans?) so that a new album will happen. He hopes it will happen in less than 2 years, but they need a rest. "It's hard to have a full blown conversation with Stevie" about a new album after they've been on the road all of these months. So, they're hoping to do it after everyone has had a rest.

Michele
