I went into listening to this with a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I think the Soundstage version of the song is total sensuous perfection. This version however, is a completely different animal. I totally dig that gritty passion! I wish Stevie still screamed and let loose some of that old passion...  . If she could do it clean and sober for the Street Angel tour, she can do it now!  |
Towards the end of the song Stevie begins dancing towards stage left and heads over to a fan who hands her a HUGE stuffed bear (looks like Winnie The Pooh) that's as big as Stevie. Stevie embraces the bear and slow dances with it for a few seconds. It's a priceless moment.
