Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamen. As we've talked about countless times before.
This song teaches me something new on a frequent basis. I feel like its constantly unveiling a new meaning in my life. For me, Rhiannon is a constant reminder of what I want to make of my life and also what I want to leave behind. I'm a very intense person but I have a tendency to hide that because intense people are difficult to deal with. So I guess "Rhiannon" is my daily reminder that I need to be "true to myself" (I hate cliches) but at the same time, prepare for the consequences of being as absolutely intense as I am. It tells me to man up, to write what I
need to opposed to what others like the best. It tells me to love wildly and give myself completely-- but not without a fight. "Dreams unwind, love's a state of mind"... love isn't concrete, and it never will be. We create our own happiness. We have the choice to sculpt something beautiful out of ourselves and our relationships-- discouraging to see at first, but that type of power now makes me more motivated to influence people's lives than ever.
God, I love this song.
