I collect Beethoveniana -- mostly books, general-interest journals, CDs of course, & even throwaway stuff like T-shirts, jackets, & mugs. I might start collecting Beethoven stamps too.
I also collect letter openers. I have letter openers from all over the world, including a scrimshaw opener from Japan, a teak opener from Ireland, an opener from Israel, & an Old Spanish opener from the early days of California.
I used to collect carnival glass, but that got too expensive & difficult to find.
I collect first editions of books by Miss Manners, Bernard De Voto, & Jacques Barzun.
I also collect The Underground Grammarian pamphlets by Richard Mitchell. I have about 70 percent of them already.
