Keep in mind that I go to a Catholic school. We have to pay to go on this retreat and its a religious thing in many senses-- the retreat house is an old monastery. Most schools don't offer a program like this. I think we are really lucky to be able to go.
Last year, I went on the junior retreat that was held at a different facility and it was a much more communication-oriented thing. I absolutely
adored that experience and my sources tell me that senior retreat is a thousand times more memorable, especially for "somebody like me" (?? don't know what that's supposed to mean but a teacher than I am very close to said it....)
