Invaluable information, many thanks for compiling the stats here...
This was my very first Stevie concert, I was also 21...drove 3 hrs each way, didn't care that I had nosebleed seats. I had been a fan since I first heard Rhiannon on the radio back in '76 and I always wanted to see the Mac (never seemed to have a chance for one reason or another). So, I was clearly 'on board' for this magical night. I do remember her singing 'Happy Birthday' that evening and the person who sat next to me was kind enough to allow me to use their binoculars throughout the evening. I picked up the grey sleeveless tee and program which I gazed at for months afterward. I was completely entranced and began wearing my hair up and dressed as Stevie-ish as possible everywhere I went! Unfortunately, I hit a deer on the way home - coming around the bay...it was so dark and it literally jumped out in front of me...scared me to death! Luckily I made home alright with one headlight...Since I was driving my father-in-laws' Ford pickup he was not too happy with me the next day...Seems like a hundred years ago...
