No direct flights yet. I did the trip a few times and it was 22-23 hours--two 11 hour flights (London to Singapore or HK, fuel stop, on to Sydney). I have read that a few airlines (Virgin for one) plan to offer a non-stop service in 2011 or 2012. The flight time will be 17 hours.

I've done the trip once since moving from London to the USA and I think it was roughly the same--15 hrs from LA to Sydney and roughly 5-6 hrs for me to get to LA.

It's such a long journey (esp with children!) and the time difference so painful. It's a wonderful trip though-
