Of course both songs are heavily influenced by Buddy Holly, most notably his song "Peggy Sue". But "Sheila", as a hit song from the early '60s, would be far more likely to be played on US radio than "Linda", which was never even released in the US. |
They do sound very similar. Next time I hear it on the radio I'll let you folks know. Who knows when that will be though. I hope I'm not wrong. If I am wrong then ChiliD will hypnotize me.
