I remember the day it was released... I could not find it in any record shop in Brook Park, Ohio... So I got on my bike and went all the way to Berea... i was 14.. so if my mom would have found out I would have been seriously busted.. It was miles away.. (no pun intended). I went to "The shop in Berea" and they had one copy... I loved the album cover... My babysitter said, "where did you get that?" I said, "up at the corner"
Not sure of the release date.. but I remember it was summer or close to it.
Since then
Wild Heart has always been my favorite Stevie solo album. I worked for it.. and I wore it out when I got home...
