I wouldn't count out a real "farewell" tour. I remember a little over a year ago reading how they were in fact building up to a huge farewell tour. Can you imagine what kind of revenue they would generate by putting that kind of label on a tour? No way in the world any of them would turn that down - I don't care how sentimental you are (
ahem, Mick) - even sentimentality has its price...
So, perhaps all of these things will be marketed together - a new album, a cd/dvd re-release of Rumours, and a Fleetwood Mac Farewell Tour... it's a thought. And, one that I'm sure has not escaped Irving Azoff and Howard Kaufman.
Btw, if anyone's listening - the 35th anniversary (December 24th we're told) of the BN joining FM is just around the corner. I wouldn't mind some kind of release to honor that...
