Hmmmm...I really wouldn't say so...I kind of inundated myself with it for a while and got kind of burnt out on it in short order (that, and I fell into an obsession pit of listening to only Allman Bros related stuff for a few months).
Half of those tunes from the official GOS on the list are leftovers from the originally leaked GOS...since I didn't have that disc with me when I loaded Lindsey's stuff onto the iPod, I used the officially released versions (which I assumed were a tad bit better sound quality than the leaked GOS tracks...I haven't taken the time to "A-B" them to compare side-by-side). I picked the three NEWEST tunes that jumped out at me initially from the album, and the three "classic" GOS tunes I already was WELL-familiar with. But, I can see where by one only looking at the list would get that GOS could be taken as my favorite....which really isn't the case. (OotC is, but it was tough to limit myself in choosing those album's songs to just the few that I included) Going back through the list, the "leaked" GOS songs (even though I included the "officially released" versions..either from the offical GOS or UTS) could also be concluded as being well up my fave albums of Lindsey's.
I don't know about Lindsey releasing a "Singles" disc per se, but I think a collection of all of his songs from soundtracks/aborted albums/various artist compilaton albums...songs I call "strays"...would probably fill a disc (or make a decent budget priced EP anyway), wouldn't they? (time to compile them together on one disc...and officially release a couple more of those Stones covers)
Holiday Road
Dancing Across The USA
(ACK! I can't think of the title of the song from the movie "With Honors")
Time Bomb Town
Shut Us Down (the longer "Elizabethtown" version)
Peacekeeper (the "all Lindsey" version)
Steal Your Heart Away (the Best Buy '97
Dance tour promo disc version)
Big Yellow Taxi
She Smiled Sweetly
Gotta Get Away
The Singer Not The Song
