I prefer the demo version of "TISL" over the version on the album. ^Those statements might be because I kind of like raw Stevie without lots of instruments around. Sometimes it's nice to just zone out with her voice and piano.

Agreed. I like the demo versions of those first three
significantly more than the album versions (although I do love "TISL" on the album). The "Planets of the Universe" piano demo could be my favorite Stevie demo ever. Those demos just make me wonder why those songs didn't show up on early albums when her voice could have carried them in the same way it did in those demos.... if she had tried to keep that raw feel on TISL, it wouldn't have worked, I think.
