My mom used to tell my sister and I to stop jumping down on the beds and in the bedroom when we were playing "Beat It". It was so funny because the record would constantly skip because of the floor shaking. My first memory of "Him" was at the American Music Awards" in 1983 or 84 when he moon walked across the stage. I looked at his feet and was facinated by the way he danced with such grace. It was almost as if his feet had wings because of how smoothly they would glide across the floor. It was as if he was flying. Now he really does have wings. He is in heaven and I know that I will see him there someday and get my chance to dance with him. Because I've always wanted too. Thank you Michael for the memories. I had a happy childhood.

my soon to be 10 year old has been watching the news & video shows all morning trying to see as many moonwalk scenes as he can, he is so fascinated by michael's fluidity while doing it~ i have tried to do it, & can master a pretty good version in socks on a slippery floor, but it will never match the magicalness when michael did it
