[In the mid-70's Spencer released an awful LP called Jeremy Spencer and the Children, which may not even be him, there's much speculation as to who is actually on the LP.]
Actually this is the first time I have heard speculation about this... Does anyone have any further information about this? To my ears the album sounds very much like Jeremy, and also sounds a bit like his Flee album.
Because Jeremy was such a fantastic mimic it can be hard to work out what is and isn't him.
I'd be curious to hear from Jeremy if he is reading this thread about this issue. I actually like the Jeremy Spencer and the Children album. If it isn't him singing on there then I guess I need to throw it out of my collection (such a shame).
[He released a live LP cut in India (1999) and an album called Precious Little appeared in 2006, I've heard neither of these.]
Anyone who hasn't heard this albums is missing out on two great albums...
