I totally agree. But if I had to bet on it, I do think Merriweather Post Pavilion will be remembered as one of 2009's great albums. The funny thing is that it's not always the biggest selling, most popular albums that are the best remembered. I mean The Velvet Underground & Nico hardly sold anything at the time of its release but now any list of the best albums of 1967 or even the 60s would look stupid without it and it's made a huge cultural impact over the years too.

I think so
But that's actually saved me from future torture, so thank you. I've never met anyone who knows his music although he's become a little better known since he dated Jennifer Aniston but even then not that much.
