I have never heard of this kind of mentality...who "replaces" one band or artist with another? I have about 50 different artists on my iPod and i am constantly expanding my music catologue almost every day, but i certainly don't delete the Fleetwood Mac songs on my iPod to "make room" for the newer artists that i add. You are basically saying Fleetwood Mac has to take a back seat to newer artists that are coming out, when in actuality, there's plenty of room for everyone.
