No, she never needed to say anything. Just the fact that she seems to cake up her face and apply several coats of red lipstick just to walk around in the park or walk down the street. It's not a put-down. She's free to do what she wants and, honestly, she'd be beautiful in a Barney suit.
But after seeing her in that one vid where she strips down her layers and is, at the end, wearing practically no makeup, it's quite evident how stunning she is with little on. I can't remember the vid, but it's a song she wrote about her husband and she's jumping on a bed.
