I liked your post.
I think Stevie has done a lot of great work for charities & continues to do so, & she seems like a very nice lady, kind, gracious, well-bred. But maybe she doesn't have that desire to be a performer any more. I enjoyed her Soundstage from a few years ago (not the singing but the smiling & the commitment), but this Fleetwood Mac business drags her down (& probably drags them down, too, because of it).
If I were Stevie, I'd seriously consider getting off the road entirely & starting all those at-home projects she's always talked about
: writing, painting, Rhiannoning, etc.
Something still drives her back out there, year after year. I don't know what it is, but I think it's some kind of negative impulse rather than a positive one (fear, for example, or anxiety or loneliness).
