At least in this case, the name was penned by John Stewart for a song. That's where the fans got it.
But I
really hate 'Linds.' These obsequious nicknames are phony-chummy. The really curious thing is that the fans who use these nicknames the most are typically younger & newer to the Mac fan dodge.
But I'd have to add that, all in all, this business is pretty trivial. I mean, Fleetwood Mac fans are starving in Third World countries even as we speak. Stevie Nicks's footwear is a lot more important than this, too.
