We have received queries from a couple of Ledgies asking about the propriety of offering pictures and books for sale. While our guidelines do generally prohibit "Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation for sale products, services or other websites," we consider this case to be an exception.
Mr. Karr worked directly with Stevie Nicks and was the video's creator. He is not offering a derivative product, but collectible items from the original source. Even for those who cannot purchase his books and pictures, we think Mr. Karr's presence has benefitted the discussion here and provided us with firsthand insight into a band member's work.
Obviously, we want to avoid spam, but in the limited circumstance where someone has worked directly with the band or one of its members, we think it's appropriate to let them announce or offer any unique items they may have available.
