And as boring as Mick's solo is at this point it wasn't bad as Peart's from the Snakes and Arrows DVD. That solo made me sad because it was actually the part of the DVD I was most looking forward to and it ended up being technical but unlistenable.  |
I actually agree with you that Neils solo last tour wasn't his usual brilliance.
But, like some others we know "he's getting older too"
But to say Micks was better? Come on. Not even on the same planet. Not even possible to compare to two really. Mick is good at what he does and Neil will be remembered as one of the best drummers in history.
Well, as for examples of "mistakes" i can't really say. I was never talking about them making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and I would never criticize a band for making them.
They just haven't sounded very tight yet. (I'm not talking about John or Mick...mostly Mama and Papa.)
