This thread seems silly to me. If you paid your money and didn't enjoy the show, felt the band wasn't on form, you shouldn't have to consider anything: it's how you feel about it.
And I've seen quite a few artists who are in their 60s who still put on electrifying performances. The multiple concerts thing doesn't work for me either because people grow, they change their minds and their tastes change too. Plus some artists change their sets, do different types of shows. And I'm not even talking tour to tour, I'm talking show to show.
