I've always thought 'Soundstage Sessions' was an odd title choice for the CD. To me, "sessions" implies studio recordings.
The vocals on the Soundstage concert definitely sound live, to my ears -- albeit sweetened in a few places (although why she didn't fix "If Anyone Falls," I'll never know).
It
is possible that they recorded the rehearsals (much like Fleetwood Mac did in Paris, for the versions of "Dreams" and "Don't Stop" used on 'Live') for the CD component of the package.
