Since he seems so psyched about more solo stuff I think it'd be great if he just did these 44 dates (are there more? I've lost track) with Fleetwood Mac and then just leave them to do his own stuff. Obviously if they can say that they want to record then do that because it might be the last chance, but if they're being wishy washy about it he should just do his own thing.
