David, yes, I agree with you that the Sports Arena IS a dump (went there for opening night of U2 in '05), but at least its not in the middle of nowhere like Cox Arena is.

Middle of nowhere??? Jeez- I live about 5 minutes from Cox.
Actually, SDSU/Cox Arena is only about 10 minutes from downtown San Diego.
So it IS the Sports Arena , huh? That's ok with me - it is kind of a dump, only cuz it's old. But the parking is easy, and once your inside it's ok. I may hit Anaheim also. As far as security goes, Anaheim is a LOT more strict than the Sports Arena.
