I don't think Waddy ruins anything, I think he just brings something different along. But then again, I am a fan of Waddy via Warren Zevon, etc, not just because of Stevie.
I went to two Stevie shows this year, and they both rocked my socks, but I haven't seen the Mac live yet (other than my DVDs)...so I will have to wait and see what it's like for me.
I am disappointed I couldn't catch Lindsey's tour for GoS, but I had to choose between Lindsey and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds...and there was no contest.
