You've heard "Rumours". Now it's confirmed that '70s superband Fleetwood Mac is touring for the first time in five years and is coming to Scotiabank Place on March 23, 2009.
And rumoured to joining Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham on their 16-date North American tour will be Grammy-Award-winning rocker Sheryl Crow.
Fleetwood Mac first hit the charts in 1969 as a British blues band with Bob Welsh but it wasn't until they recorded "Rumours" in 1977 that they became one of the top-selling bands of all time, selling more than 30 million units of "Rumours" alone.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. with doors at 7 p.m.
Fleetwood Mac tickets are $49.50-$149.50 plus service charges, on sale Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Scotiabank Place box-office, The Sens Store, Sports Experts, charge by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or online at
