I don't blame you. When you are traveling before the concert, you kind of want your seat before you make the flight and hotel plans, not afterwards and sometimes it's worth it to travel for a good seat, but not for a bad one. So, going to ticketmaster first, for a mediocre seat doesn't seem like a practical option.
This makes me so mad. I don't mind paying, but I do mind the "first 10 rows" thing.
Now, one option I tried for some Stevie shows was a ticketmaster auction. You bid on the seats and you knew what row you would be in. The seats were expensive, but not as expensive as ILAA and you also knew exactly where you would be. I wish they were doing those again.
