It's all about hype. I wouldn't even be bothered to get offended. Didn't Lauryn Hill win, like, 100 at one show and what has become of her? And Norah Jones who, though possessing a truly stunning voice, is completely flat-out
BORING won a ton as well...
And Lil Wayne is actually pretty impressive, but he's also really, really popular. This is what has become of the Grammys, the Oscars, Rolling Stone Magazine: they all feed the hype. And they're all too predictable. I'm so happy to see Lindsey there 'cuz he's beautiful and I adore his music/him but he's too cool for a Grammy and I'm sort of happy he isn't included in that &^$#. He's too great and it's far too trivial for someone of his caliber, frankly.
