Being on a list to vote for the best female rock vocalist of all time does not make one relevant today. I notice Pat is on that list too.
I voted for Stevie, but I would have to say that
technically Ann is the better vocalist. I assume most people are doing what I did - voting for their favorite, not the best; or we're so biased that we refuse to believe that anyone else could
possibly be better.
I think the internet is obviously having a hand in these results - Heart & Stevie/Mac have so many fansites & message boards compared to other older/classic artists, I'd be willing to bet that even though it's been pretty dead around these parts lately, they still see more traffic & more "come on guys, you have to vote!" posts than, say, Janis or Grace Slick's boards (assuming there are some.)
And btw - our girl is now getting her ass kicked by about 1500 votes.
