An absurd Stevie interview, complete with all the original ramblings and "you know"s!
Stevie: ...that some people are clothes-sensualists. In other words, they don't give one flash in a can how it looks as long as it's terribly comfortable and feels good.
Interview Girl: Okay, second question: your favourite dress?
Stevie: I'm wearing it.
Girl: I'm wearing it.
S: I'm wearing it. That'll be really... It's either on me or hanging over a lamp. I love that one.
G: Are you always conscious of being a woman in rock group.. in rock group?
S: Due to the fact Fleetwood keeps us on the road all year, I would have to say yes. Hint, hint.
G: Hint hint, right. Oh my god. What kind of group is Fleetwood Mac?
Guy in background: True or false?
S: Oh, the profound question.
G: Uh-huh.
S: A warm and sincere... Um... intrical.
G: How do you spell
that?
Guy: I-N...
S: T-R-I...
G: What? I-N...
Guy: T... t... t... t...t...
G: T-G
S: T-E-G?
Guy: T-H-E
G: I.. I... I
Guy: R-A-L
Stevie: Or E-L.
Girl: A-L.
Guy: I was always so good at spelling.
Stevie: We have three different spellings for intrical here. I'm going "I-N-T..." Forget it, my mind's blanked out on intrical.
Girl: Did you get any influence from being a reg...
S: A regular girl
Girl: a ROCK musician! A reg musician!
Stevie: A ramblin' girl....
What?
G: Did you get any influence from being a rock musician?
S: Any influence from being a rock musician?
G: Did you get any influence being a rock musician?
S: Well, I'd have to say probably, when you are a rock musician, your entire life is just one big influence because you don't have any time to do anything else
Girl: One... big...
S: Rock concert!
G: ...influence. Oh my god! What have you found interesting recently?
S: I refuse to answer on the grounds ???? to incriminate me! Forget that!
G: Your last massage?
S: No, didn't ever have one here.
G: Um.... interesting. My god, something must be interesting, interesting
S: Lots of things, but nothing in particular.
G: Recently, recently. Interesting recently.
S: Yeah I know. The question is...
G: What have you found interesting recently?
S: I am going "I'm sorry... I can't answer that!"
G: You can't answer that, okay.
Some other girl: I know there's a reason there!
G: Now, next question. What are you interested in NOW? Give two examples.
S: *to someone else* Don't give him.. her a couple. Uh, okay, well, let's see. Okay. I.. there.. I really.. That's too personal.
G: Too personal. That's what I thought. Oh no, this is not for you, but I'm going to ask anyway. You're very tall! But any benefit or loss by being so tall? This is to Mick Fleetwood.
S: Okay, would you like me to answer that?
G: Sure, for him.
S: Cause I'm his right hand. Okay.. he likes being noticed. Attention. He likes attention. He loves it. He
loooooves standing out in a crowd. Oh he actually does look.. uh-oh.
G: Do you want your fans to listen to your music in any particular way?
S: Well...
G: Up and down, sideways..
S: Okay, you answer it then. I don't.. I don't know, whatever way...
G: Whatever turns them on?
S: Whatever... Yeah... they like.
G: What do you try in your performance?
S: What do I TRY? Is that the end of the sentence? What do I try from my performance?
G: What do you try in your performance? Not to step over your skirt..
S: Right.. not to trip. I try to always be interesting. To not be boring.
G: Don't you make fun of my ringworm. My burn!
S: Do you have ringwo-... ugghh!!
G: My noodle. See the noodle?
S: Do you have ringworm?
G: No, it's a burnt noodle!
S: Oooh...
G: A noodle fell on my hand.
S: Oh, God, Gabrielle.
G: This is a HOT NOODLE!
S: Ohhh, yum!
Some guy: Nobody believes that!
Some other guy: This film is getting bizarre.
S: This is a
realllyyyy...
G: Ask Mr. Kent. He threw the hot noodle..
Stevie: Always, forever remain... as far as I'm concerned. I know this is not interesting to anyone but.. Lucy, to me, never fails to make me
die laughing, even though I've seen every single "I Love Lucy" about 150 times. She is so believable, don't you think?
Some guy: I like Gracie Allen.
Stevie: Well, see, I didn't.. I didn't think that Gracie Allen was that funny. But I could relate to Lucy a lot because a lot of the things that she does I have done. I mean, just really dumb, stupid things. With like Lucy and Ethel, I mean, that, the whole "uh oh, you're coming up with another one of those ridiculous, absurd ideas" type of a thing. And.. but to be so believable. I mean, to go out and get jobs and to stand with chocolates and... do you know that one where the chocolates are going by.. on the... they'll get the job at the candy s-... in the candy factory? And they have to get a job because they have to make some money and they're desperate? And they're sitting there? And the canned chocolates are coming out?
