David....This guy writes for "The Nation" and presumably get's the big bucks for doing it ;-) I find many word mis-usages these days, esp on the newschannel "chirons" that are always at the bottom of the screen...Some horrible misspellings too I might add....Some of it's haste and no proof reading....some of it's just...ineptness as a writer ;-)

I find it interesting that FM in general , has become a "generational" reference that ALL readers are assumed to know..
