I've been lucky thus far, too, regarding my work - I'm a freelance writer and web designer, and I mainly work in the Internet marketing industry. Things seem to be holding steady right now. Touch wood.
So right now, what I really worry a lot more about is my house. My landlord bought this place less than 2 years ago, and she bought something like 5 more houses in the area at the same time. The economy here has closely resembled the Bataan Death March for years and years already, but I fear it's going to get even worse now.
